About Fret Canvas

Fret Canvas lets you visualize notes on the fretboard interactively from chords and scales. You can also click directly on the fretboard to add or remove notes manually.

I used to use an iPad to hand-draw chord and scale notes on fretboard diagrams to practice. It worked but was a bit cumbersome, and it was awkward to keep drawing while holding the instrument. Fret Canvas was built to make that process faster and easier to handle directly in the browser.

You can select an area of the fretboard image and export it as an image file.
